• Housekeeping Cleaning – Your basic Home Cleaning toolkit

    When Housekeeping Cleaning and Home Cleaning it is always best to have a handy cleaning toolkit ready at hand. Ideally this can be kept in a simple carry bag or case, so when those little jobs happen, you can just grab the toolkit and clean.

    Your basic Home Cleaning Tool Kit should include the following:

    1. A general all purpose cleaner, that is suitable for most surfaces. Alternative you can make up your own all purpose household cleaner by preparing a solution of 2 tablespoons of gentle washing up liquid and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle.
    2. A mild and gentle abrasive cleaner – such as Cif or you can make up a solution by combining baking soda and washing up liquid into a paste like substance.
    3. A mirror and glass cleaner. Alternatively, make up a white vinegar and water solution in a spray bottle. 50/50 quatities.
    4. A good pair of rubber gloves, a collection of white cleaning cloths (lint free) and a scrubbing brush, that is not to hard bristled.

    Place the items in a simple carry case, or canvas bag, and store in an accessible place, so you can just grab and go, and easily transport about the house as you clean room to room.
