House Cleaning Tips and the Dyson Ball Vacuum Review
As a Home Cleaning Goddess, when it comes to vaccuming, I want a vaccum that works well, is tough, and will last me a long time. If it happens to look great and be cutting edge design, there even better. That is why for me, when it comes to buying a vacuum, one of my major House Cleaning Tips is to buy a Dyson.
Dyson is to vaccumming what Apple is to MP3 players. Sure there are many great vacuums in the market, but do they look as good, and work as well as a Dyson? Dyson are at the cutting edge of design and function when it comes to vaccums. Their main features are
Dyson vacuums never lose suction. You will often find that other vacuums lose suction over time, so the more you use them, the less effective they are at cleaning your home.
Patented Cyclone technology picks up more dust and pet hair, room after room. Other systems clog, leaving dirt and pet-related debris on floors.
Air expelled from a Dyson is 99.99 percent cleaner than when it entered the vacuum. Dyson vacuums capture up to 99.99 percent of all dirt and dust particles via cyclonic separation. A pleated HEPA filter captures allergens and particles as small as 0.01 micron.
Dyson vacuums are easy to use and maneuver. No need to get dusty emptying the bin–just push the button and you’re done. Lifetime HEPA and washable filters mean you never have to buy bags.
So we look at the latest Dyson featuring its patented Ball Technology:
Dyson DC25 Ball All-Floors Upright Vacuum CleanerThis is the one that comes with the famous Dyson Ball technology. Basically this upright vacuum cleaner sits on top of a ball for easy twisting and turning around furniture and obstacles. No more missed angles or tiresome back-and-forth vacuuming. The design is superb, with the engine inside the ball. Not only does this mean it looks very neat and small, but also means that the vacuum has a low centre of gravity making it much more easy to manoeuvre.
At around 16 pounds this is very light for the power you are going to get. Remember, size is not everything, as the suction on this machine is fantastic, and probably much better than larger heavier vacuums. It is easy to carry upstairs, and fits into small closets comfortably, for ease of storage. I love that it can move along flush with a wall, so I rarely need to use the attachments (except to get behind stuff). And it’s relatively small. I expected it to be much larger, but it’s small and so very, very light. You’ll really notice the difference between it’s 16lb and the normal 25-30lb for other 11 amp vacs. And it’s relatively quiet
Using its Root Cyclone technology to separate dirt from the air by centrifugal force, which ensures efficient cleaning with no clogging or loss of suction, the cleaning power is superb. With its fingertip controls, and a constant suction power of 220 air watt you will be amazed, and perhaps shocked, at the amount of dirt it will pick up from your carpet, if you are used to a normal vacuum.
You fill find that this is effective for use on all floor types, the unit’s motorized brushbar can be turned on to remove dirt and pet hair from carpets, or turned off to protect delicate rugs and floors. It also supplies a quick-draw Telescope Reach wand, which expands to offers 16 feet of reach for stairs, drapes, upholstery, and more.
For cleaner expelled air, the unit comes with a washable lifetime HEPA filter that traps microscopic allergens such as pollen and bacteria. In fact, the air expelled from a Dyson has up to 150 times less bacteria and mold than the air you breathe, and all Dyson uprights are certified asthma friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. The unit’s hygienic 1/3-gallon bin quickly empties without ever having to touch the dust–just press the button and dust empties from the bottom; the clear polycarbonate bin also allows for easily viewing the cleaning progress and gauging when it needs to be emptied.Yes, this is probably more expensive than a lot of vacuums you can buy, but sometimes going cheap is a false economy. I have a habit of having vacuums dying on me every year or so, and I had avoided buying a Dyson because of the price. But when I did, I never looked back, and with a 5 year parts guarantee you cannot go wrong. It far out sucks other vacuums, looks fantastic, gets into places others cannot reach – and is worth every dollar.
